Today was so awful it's almost funny. If I weren't still so angry
it probably would be. Murphey's Law once again proven by my life.
Here's the break-down:
11:30 head to the mall for the shopping that had to get postponed yesterday.
12:00-12:30 shop at Gap and Gap body and buy only one navy blue totally plain tee, purchased because it fit and cost $4.
12:30 iPod store to fix my damn iPod. I was told that it would cost me $50 (!) to get a replacement iPod even though I've only had it
for 7 months and my warantee is nowhere near expired. Fuck that.
12:45 Cingular booth to get my phone fixed. The sales girl is an idiot and tells me all I can do is order another replacement phone
(my fourth one!!) I don't want another damn phone if it's just going to break like the other three!
12:50 not trusting her opinion I seek out the actual Cingular store where the much smarter salesman tells me that.... my charger is
broken and I'll have to buy a new one! yay! (that was sarcasm)
1:00 sale at Express! maybe my day isn't so bad! Wait... my mother calls and needs me to pick her up right away from Boys and
Girls Club.
1:15 skip the sale, rush to Best Buy to purchase a $25 (!) phone charger and off to get mom.
3:00 head to the gym for one of my final pre-triathlon workouts. My knee hurts and I can't finish.
5:00 I realize I paid for the purchases today with the wrong credit card. Dad tells me I am an idiot.
6:45 in an attempt to raise my foul mood I head off to a movie with Kev and realize I don't have my glasses.
7:00 unable to find my glasses and now late for the movie I rush off after dad once again tells me I am an idiot.
9:30 movie over, I arrive home to my angry mother who takes me back to the mall to try and see if I left my glasses there. Nope. I have
a mild heart attack and am told I better find my $200 glasses fast, or else.
10:00 mother looks in her purse and sees that... whoops... she picked up my glasses by accident thinking they were hers.
10:00-11:00 updating, registering, insuring, loading, and god know what else my new iPod.
Ok sorry just needed to vent. It was just so frustrating.
Every time I decided I would cheer up and just try and improve my mood
something else would happen to piss me off again. At least there
was one good part. I saw Crash which
I recommend to everyone. I probably cried for the last 45 mins to
an hour of the movie but it was very thought-provoking and interesting
and really well-made and well-acted. So there ya go. Now I
will stop rambling and complaining and get my tired and pissed off butt
to be before something else can happen. Peace.
